Throughout the year, as well as Trials and Scrambles, we organise road runs.

Road Run costs: £5 members.

£10 non-members.

Non-members joining the club on the day £15.

Our road runs are a chance to show off your bikes, meet new people, exchange information and discover some of Dumfries and Galloway's stunning countryside.

Full details and entry forms, including starting times and locations etc, will be available prior to each event keep an eye on our website and facebook page.

Road Run Dates 2022

Our scheduled Toad Runs this year are in support of The Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, asking for a minimum donation of £5 for each run entered.

The runs are on the first Sunday of the month from April until October except for Thursday June 16th when the run leaves from the Galloway Motorcycle Club’s Festival of Offroad Motorsport at Drumlanrig Castle.

1. April 3rd A run to the Hawick Museum to see the Steve Hyslop and Jimmy Guthrie motorcycle racing exhibitions.

2. May 1st Girvan, starting and finishing in Castle Douglas

3. June 16th Open to all, this evening charity run is from the Festival of Offroad Motorsport at Drumlanrig Castle leaving around 6pm.

4. June 17th This 50 mile is a run for Pre 1980 Classic motorcycles leaving around 11am and returning in good time for the official opening of the Festival at 5pm.

5. July 3rd 146 mile run via Beacon Edge, Hartside, Alston returning via Brampton, Langholm and Lockebie.

6. August 7th 219 miles run to Berwick upon Tweed via Langholm and Jedburgh, returning via Walkerburn, Broughton Biggar, Abington and the Dalveen Pass.

7. September 4th 192 mile Run to Hawes in North Yorkshire, after lunch returning via A685, B6260 Buttertubs and A6.

8. October 2nd From Castle Douglas. Portpatrick run via the Isle of Whithorn return to CD via Stranraer, Newton Stewart and New Galloway.
